This is interesting - at Oracle AI World, and the head of infrastructure at OpenAI isn’t referring to compute capacity in GPUs or teraflops … but in megawatts.

Presumably (unsurprisingly) a sign that power is the limiting/defining factor.

Geddy Lee at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. He donated over 200 baseballs signed by greats from those leagues.

The thing about him (and all the members of Rush) isn’t just that they are/were preternaturally talented, but they’re just goddamn genuinely outstandingly decent human beings.
