From what I remember that is just a creepypasta Lavender town syndrome

Tho I will admit the song and the town itself was pretty creepy at the time for pokemon

Pokemon definitely had a bit more of bite back then

Always found the town interesting especially since Lavender Town I think was one first early Pokemon Creepypastas made I don't think the first one but definitely one of the early ones for sure
