Look, it’s harmless, okay? It’s your average cookie-cutter, power fantasy schlock. Absolutely nothing going on in the writing to keep me engaged, but at least there’s plenty of great animation throughout to stimulate my brain for short bursts of time.

-in. It’s a show I definitely feel like I woulda absolutely devoured and became obsessed with as a kid, and while I can say I enjoyed it, I am left disappointed with the thought of what it could have been if it wasn’t working against itself so frequently.

Love these guys though, they are awesome.

There’s so much cool stuff in this show on paper, and I find the main characters to be really endearing and fun but it tries so hard to have its cake and eat it with being the haha quirky self-aware, self-parody while also expecting you to be invested in the super tense situations the characters are

So I watched Murder Drones over the course of this past week and I liked it a good bit, but I cant help but feel that it constantly undermined its tone and premise with its attempts at comedy.
