WHYY has enough for now (and has historically paid its top directors/talent a LOT). Supporting NJ PBS is more akin to supporting a smaller station that could stretch a dollar

Yes - and to the extent that sheltered conservative kids do get more liberal, it’s just as likely if not more that it’s bc they become friends with a more diverse peer group, not bc of anything in class
He also seems wrong on gay marriage. Plenty of evangelical / conservative religious types still oppose it and do think it weakens their conception of what a marriage should be

I listened to pbs while cooking tonight and if you were unfamiliar with Kirk (which I assume most people watching newshour/bbc would be) it was as if all Kirk ever did was “motivate young people to vote.” Complete lack of acknowledgment of anything he said/stood for
I don’t think it was ever even that conscious - or maybe it developed early when I was trying to match the guide? It’s readable and neat (no shame) but I have had more than one person say to me “that’s YOU’RE handwriting? lol” bc it does not match - at all
You should - you have beautiful handwriting. I have very bubbly/girly handwriting? (complete opposite of my personality) and I take great humor in that
Volume! I don’t watch much network tv, but every eagles game was just constant (and very dark) ads. It’s not surprising at all to me that people think there millions of criminal immigrants - that message was forced by some of the most racist ads I’ve ever seen. In that case I think it was elons $
I’m not sure if that holds in every market. Regardless, my guess is the constant negative ads contribute to both people tuning out & not voting, and “both sides are bad” that make distinctions hard for low info voters - who then swung trump
