Day 8: The fact that Stede flashes back to this moment when he is missing Ed in Season 2 shows it's definitely something he remembered in detail, the red silk tucked in his purple suit (with butterflies in his hair).

Day 6: Stede would definitely want to remember having the same brilliant and successful idea as Blackbeard.

I also sifted through dozens of lighthouse pendants and charms but none felt quite right until I found this one from the Girl Scouts shop (!) which has really cool shadowing.

Day 3: I think Stede would want to remember this moment of gathering his courage and beginning to overcome his trauma. Even though Izzy may see it as an unprofessional ambush, Stede did recover one of the hostages and bested him at swordplay.

Day 2: I know a lot of us fell in love with Stede when he read to the crew, and the book choice of Pinocchio is so poignant for one of the show's themes of what does it mean to be a "real" pirate or man, or captain or father, or just an adult in general.

Day 1: This scene was one of the easiest to pick since Stede made Lucius record it in his journal, so we know it was meaningful to him.

Pete is wearing a midnight blue Santa hat with little white dots on it (indicating ‘snow’) – this hat is a strange Danish tradition (for those who choose to celebrate it … a LOT (maybe even most?) don’t anymore) that pertains to the time of year, when the Danish beer brand ‘Tuborg’ releases their yearly Christmas brew.
