"Oh?"

A gentle smile graced the fae's lips.

"Are you lost? Allow me to escort you back to the city."
-Currently, Flins keeps up the appearance of a human, living on the island where the Final Night Cemetery was built.

-Everything after this is canon!
-No one had stepped forward to organize it, but the people wordlessly agreed to express their gratitude this way.

-Considering how many casualties the operation had racked up, Flins did not think even ten medals could do justice to the losses.
-He became known as a skilled but mysterious storyteller with a heavy civilian commendation medal on his chest, granted to him in recognition of his squad’s efforts in repelling Abyssal creatures.
-After the battle was done, he aided the survivors in burying the fallen heroes.

-This was the origin of the Final Night Cemetery, and Kyryll, once a nobleman, became known among the Lightkeepers as Ratnik Flins.
-In this silent place of death, Kyryll's slumber was ended, as a colossal blaze of blue scorched the skies as it erupted from the small island.

-Moved by the courage of these brave souls, Kyryll had aided them and was reawakened anew.
-This should have been a grand and glorious moment, but the warrior on the brink of death didn't realise it, nor did the distant monsters or the deceased.

-Indeed, most who would have recognised that blazing fire had themselves passed on long ago.
-With his final breath, the warrior prayed, beseeching any who could hear to descend upon this place and scatter the storm-cloud of death and despair rolling toward them.

-Blood and souls had paid the price, and the azure flame was now reawakened.
-However, even with his eyes closed, he could see the scene above.

-Warm human blood that seeped into the stones like a ritual, a mortally wounded warrior collapsing above.
-At first, freshly roused from his slumber, he was indifferent, and if he was in human form, Kyryll wouldn't even open an eye.
-Despite all of this, things would not go as planned.

-On a thunderous, rainy night, the sounds of battle clashed above where Kyryll rested, as the Ratniki fought against the Wild Hunt.

-Kyryll was awoken by the blood splashing on the ground, the sounds of fighting above.
-Kyryll's dormancy was one he had extensively prepared for.

-He'd created his altar and sealed himself using the most ancient rituals.

-No mean price would it take to reawakening this flame, and its location, rarely visited by humans, made it less likely to be disturbed.
-Atop a stone altar, Kyryll transformed into a ball of fire and sank beneath the earth, beginning a slumber that would last hundreds of years.

-As he fell into his slumber, he had the thought of allowing himself to sink ever deeper, allowing his light to fully burn out.
-After he left court, Flins would seek a remote place.

-It was under the lighthouse on a small isle that Kyryll the Azure Flame found his destined tomb.

-He never intended to end his own life, but to toast this monotonous world and sink into a long slumber.
-After the death of the Belyi Tsar and the rise of the new regime after the Cataclysm, Flins felt like he had no place in this "new world" and saw no further reason to remain in Snezhnaya.

-His departure caused much speculation and rumour.
-This was around the time of the Cataclysm and the transfer of power from the Belyi Tsar to the Tsaritsa.

-Flins fought against the Abyssal threat in the Northern territories.

-There, presumably under the name Chudomir, he became known as The Lantern Fae, protector of the people of Nod-Krai.
-At some point during his brief tenure at the court, he lost the gemstone “Tear of the North” to a man called Sokolov in a bet.

-Not long after he gave up the Tear of the North to Sokolov, Kyryll disappeared from court.
-Such events not only exposed people to new knowledge, but provided opportunities for, amongst other things, treasures and fine wines to be purchased.

-During his time in court, the Belyi Tsar often bestowed many gifts upon the nobles in his court, and Kyryll was no exception.
-Even to this day, his noble lineage remains recorded in the register of noble families.

-The court was known for banquets and balls, with many of the nobles in attendance, with sociability the most sought after currency.

I just wanted to do a quick scribble to show my Flins' look in my personal AU, with his wings and the tail.

His wings are probably bigger lmao but alas.
