OVO Energy Group will pay over £2.7 million in redress after failing to provide Warm Home Discount rebates to almost 12,000 customers by the statutory deadline of 31 March 2024.

These customers received their rebate over 19 months late.

New analysis from National Grid shows that interconnectors (subsea cables connecting Great Britain to neighbouring electricity markets) have saved consumers an estimated £1.65 billion since 2023. These links bring in lower‑cost electricity from abroad, helping to keep bills down.
