Jokic had a triple double but I'll call it a tough game by his standards. #GSW schemed to not guard him from 3, and I think Jok settled for that far too easily. A couple uncharacteristic misses near the hoop including at the buzzer of regulation when he had chance to win the game.

Aaron Gordon had the shooting performance of his life against GS. 10/11 from 3, 7/10 from 2, 8/8 from the line, 50 points overall. Had 8 straights threes at one point. Loved it.

DEN @ GSW was a great watch. Man, Steph Curry is still so special. Vintage. 22 pts in Q4 + OT. 42 overall. So much movement from him. Cooked with the drives. Made some ridiculous Steph shots from deep.

Curry/Butler/Kuminga/Green/Horford closing lineup looked fantastic.

Castle looked great for the #Spurs. Good hands on D, couple nice deflections. Liked his transition playmaking. The drives looked solid. There's a lot to like with his game.

Harper got more comfortable as the game went on. Started to look more comfortable operating in the paint. Some nice finishes

That reverse dunk? Nasty. That step-back 3 for a 4 point play? Crazy. He's got all the tools in the world on both ends. Love the shift to more inside shots for him so far. Got to the line at will. Don't know how you defend Wemby.

Watched #SAS @ #DAL from last night.

Wembanyama is just ridiculous. Altering shots on D, getting to whatever he wants inside the arc on O. Footwork + fluidity stood out. Watching him dunk barely computes in my brain. With his height and length, we've never seen a vertical spacer like him.

Chet’s first quarter was electric, he looked fantastic offensively. SGA was quiet until he found his groove in Q4 and the OTs. Jaylin Williams looks like he’s slimmed down, we’ll see if that impacts his game this year.

Amen was fun, felt solid when he was the ball handler, and he played SGA well for the first 3Q. Tough opponent for HOU but you can see the bones of how they can succeed.

OKC picked up where they left off last season. Voracious on-ball pressure forcing turnovers.

#HOU @ #OKC was a clunky war, intense first game of season.

HOU is going to be fantastic on the offensive glass as expected. That zone they can throw out is absolutely massive and long up top. They have to improve ball handling under pressure (albeit OKC is the worse opponent to play for this)

Okay, I’m going with the Oklahoma City #Thunder over the New York #Knicks for the 2026 NBA title.

I’d have the #Nuggets and #Cavaliers in the conference finals.

Also, I’d take the Denver over either CLE or NYK if they get through OKC.

I also gotta mention how excited I am to hopefully (knock-on-wood) get a healthy season from Jalen Johnson. If he stays on the court, that guy is gonna have a massive year. He really does a little bit of everything for the #Hawks.
