No doubt. The 1978 Brewers were 93-69 and finished 3rd behind both the Yankees and the Red Sox. They went 95-66 the next year and finished EIGHT games behind the 1979 Orioles. That AL East had 6 teams over .500 and 4 teams that would have won the West!

These systems projected the Brewers to win 82 games, so yeah....

The most intriguing World Series matchup to me would be Mariners-Brewers. Two teams who have never won, plus maybe there’s bad blood over the history of Bud Selig purchasing the Seattle Pilots and moving them to Milwaukee?

If the Brewers and Mariners make it to the World Series, shitfuck we’ll pound that ol’ Budweiser and this platform will become the Ball Four Book Club.

If the Brewers and Mariners make the World Series, I’m forcing so much Pilots analysis into BP that week

That was my question. And McIlroy and McDonough did nothing to explain it either

Yes, one for every play that was reviewed

You had enough time in the last 2 minutes of the first half for at least 3 or 4

They let Georgia start a whole other play before they whistled it dead to review the previous first down.

We gotta stop that shit.

I get that Kirby gets a lot of leeway after winning two championships. But someone with money has to say something about Bobo, Searles, Robinson, and Schuman.

This defense STILL isn't it.

Literally hilarious watching a D-lineman as the spy getting absolutely used on that play. Never had a chance.

How can anyone be against a challenge system?

This never-say-die/always coming back thing for Georgia the past couple seasons has been real. But it can also create a lack of urgency at the start of games. And ultimately it may doom it in some games. Perhaps this one.
