That was my takeaway after attending the protest in Chicago today. It has to happen in DC in a big way. The biggest problem I see is housing. I've been to several protests in DC during earlier times (Bush era) and it gets pretty tricky to find a place to stay.

Anyone who wished to could sign it as they rolled it out . Was amazing to watch. Sorry to inform the Right wing propagandists, but contrary to their "hate America" bs, this was massive love of country and constitution. Lots of former military, too, btw.

I was there. It was hard to tell how many because it was spread out, especially south toward Buckingham Fountain. It is my understanding that the "normal" capacity for the park area is approx 50k...it certainly exceeded that, And organizers are saying about 9million Nationwide.
