OPERATION CLEAR VISION distributes prescription eyeglasses, readers, & sunglasses to Duncans, Jamaica!

Every February, 2 teams of 6-8 persons from the U.S.–including an optometrist–serve the community of Duncans by matching visitors with prescription eyeglasses rec'd from Lions International.

Avocados are being planted on 25 acres adjacent to Methodist-related York Castle High School in Browns Town, Jamaica. Students learn agricultural techniques & agri-business methods as they prepare future harvested fruit for market. Visit our website to learn more!

The community of La Saline is a suburb on the outskirts of Haiti's Capital of Port-au-Prince, and is no stranger to these hardships. The Methodist Church of Haiti has been working since the 1940s to develop and maintain a permanently operating medical facility, chapel, school for the residents.

The small nation of Haiti has dealt with more than its fair share of adversity in recent years, including natural disasters, civil unrest, and widespread resource shortages. It comes with little surprise, then, that the country is currently the poorest nation in the entire Western Hemisphere.
