I'd rather see anyone else other than Gretzky represent Canada at the World Cup draw. He's a traitor. #elbowsup #CanadaStrong

This is embarrassing.

First they said we should become the 51st state.

Then they threatened us with Tariffs.

Now they have tried to steal Franklin, the turtle.

Fuck off America. Stay away from Canada.

We are everything that's great about the world, and, sadly, you are not.

RuSSia is a terrorist state that invaded Ukraine. You do not make deals with terrorists and invaders. The outcome of this war is not a "deal" where you reward aggressors. Canada, the EU and the rest of the World outside of Krasnov's 'Murica won't accept anything less. #UkrainianView

Half an hour of research on Ancestry should have signaled that Thomas King is not indigenous. A quick search indicates that he is genetically, and therefore culturally, white. There is no indigenous experience here. He's a fake and he knows it...he just got caught.

Wow. Devastating news to find out that JD Vance has a low opinion of Canada. That's really upsetting. I'm sure it's going to ruin our collective weekend. I too am upset with CBC...for even reporting this nonsense. Who cares? He fucked a chesterfield... #CanadaStrong #Elbowsup

This is no fucking deal for Ukraine. This is American capitulation to Putin by Krasnov and the American kleptocracy. It is easy for us (Canada, here) to tell you not to capitulate, but we remain in solidarity with Ukraine and her people. The only regime change needed is Trump OUT. #Ukrainianview

It is amazing how many Republicans think they know what Socialism and Communism stands for, and repudiate what they think those values mean, but can't see Fascism staring them directly right in the face...

Scheer calling Carney "undemocratic" is hilarious considering his own master list his election, and then had one of his flunkies resign so he could run, at a huge cost, in the safest seat ever. If either of these clowns had any class they would resign.

Steve Bannon looks like the point of origin for the bubonic plague, syphilis, and herpes, all rolled into one. He's got a such a distinct look that I am sure the night watch on the castle ramparts would have barred the gates, sounded the alarm, and lit a signal beacon.
November 7, 2025 at 8:29 PM
This really is starting to look like an episode of the "Biggest Loser". Imagine having a huge pre-election lead, losing your own seat, having to be parachuted into the safest seat in the land, then losing MPs who are sick of your BS...only to trot out this douche canoe from retirement. #Canadasky

NDP, Bloc, and Cons take note:

Here's what is going to happen: Canadians have no appetite for another election. If you do not support this budget and the government falls, be prepared for a Liberal super majority. You will lose your seats... #Canadastrong #elbowsup #Canadasky

PP is a complete failure:

--Failed to submit budget amendment
--Lost or is losing the Progressive Conservative Vote
--Has no policies that compete with Carney and Liberals
--Popularity in general is dropping
--Couldn't get elected in his home riding

The federal government is correct to offer an uncompromised budget that offers generational change. It needs to happen; we need to break the bonds that hold us back in the world. Other parties need to support it as there is no sentiment for another election.

#bluejays Why Yesavage and not Eric Lauer? Our best pitcher next to Varland and nowhere to be seen.
November 2, 2025 at 2:18 PM
#bluejays need to fix a few things before the 2026 season.

1. Baserunning and situational awareness.

2. Bench depth. Helpful if there are a couple of threats available to pinch hit.

3. Get rid of Schneider. He is terrible at pitching selections. Too often he chooses wrong.
November 2, 2025 at 2:11 PM
Toronto's base coaches need to be shit canned. The number of baserunning errors is unacceptable. WTAF are you guys doing? Little leaguers pay more attention to the play.

It's like a Stephen King short story: The evil spirit of the Rogers Centre wants to preserve the sacred memory of Jays' WS victories of 92 and 93 and swallows up Barger's hit at the bottom of the wall. Of course, if he wrote it the Red Sox would be in there somewhere. #jays #dodgers #stephenking

I feel like last night was the Baseball God's way of saying to Blake Snell, "those were just shitty pitches, not bad luck."

Here's what bad luck looks like:" I present to you the world series wedgie oh and a weird double play to boot."

Brutal. No excuses.
Sasaki should have been hammered. That was the smartest play in the history of baseball....not picking up that ball. It was loose... #bluejays #dodgers #worldseries

What a bad loser. Thinks he's just "unlucky". We beat the pants off you twice loser. I guess you were just unlucky that time too... #dodgers #bluejays

That 18 inning game was actually a win for Toronto.

This is what makes baseball so magical: even though they lost, you could sense something change.

There is a "spark" that every successful WS team has, and at first Toronto didn't seem to have it...

But then it crystalized. What caused it?

In the 1600s, thousands of people were buried in crypts under a Milan hospital & preserved by unusual conditions. “What is striking is how much you can extrapolate from an ancient body,” says one researcher, “and how much you can understand from that about the period they lived in." @science.org

Nevermind all the talk about 18 innings...who cares.

Toronto should have won this in 9 innings.

--Terrible call on Varsho
--Bichette looking like the only guy who wanted to be there less than the ump.
--Fluharty messing up his one job.
--Jays pitching to Ohtani
--no sign of Bassett or Lauer
