A third game in the Alice series by American McGee, called Alice: Asylum, was proposed, but ultimately rejected by EA. The design bible of the game can still be found online. The game's story was planned to be about the stages of grief.

In Jurassic Park: Trespasser, a secret weapon of the Quake logo can be found within the lab's basement. It's a very powerful melee weapon that can kill a t-rex very quickly.

The original version of JumpStart 4th Grade was actually horror-themed, but due to complaints from parents, JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Haunted Island was phased out for JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Sapphire Falls in 1999.

A mobile game for Kingdom Hearts, called Kingdom Hearts: Fragmented Keys, was in development but ultimately never saw the light of day. It was planned to be fully 3d, and even had concepts for several Star Wars characters to appear.

"Cosmic Carnage" released in Japan as "Cyber Brawl". Multiple alien characters (Naruto, Cylic, Zena-Lan) were human, everyone except Naruto had different names, and the story was totally different.

When Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders got a retail release, its title screen was completely changed. It also had new levels, including two hidden deathmatch ones.

Gotta Protectors is a spinoff of another game called Protect Me Knight. Unfortunately, both of these games are no longer purchasable, with Protect Me Knight being removed off the Xbox LIVE Indie Games section in 2017, and the Nintendo 3DS eShop closing in 2023.

In GBA version of The Urbz: Sims in the City, you can purchase a miniature llama to keep as a pet at the carnival. Some other interesting pets include a pig and an iguana.

Anni from Baba is You actually has a full set of unused sprites depicting her walking and sleeping. In the actual game, she's only ever stationary and appears in one level. Most of these sprites were removed in a later update.

The Amazon Trail 3rd edition has an unused item called the Gati-ma-nya. It appears to be a medicinal plant that you could get at a certain point in the game, but it's hard to say for sure as there is no dialogue mentioning it.

Disney Princess (GBA) variates quite a bit from the original Disney films it's based on. Some deviations include the Evil Queen turning the Dwarves into stone, Jasmine fighting Jafar with a sword, and Aurora facing Maleficent while the rest of her kingdom slept.

Powerpuff Girls Z received a video game for the DS, aptly titled
Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z: The Game. It features boardgame-style gameplay with minigames. Despite the anime having dubs in other countries, it only released in Japan.

Some of Paradise Killer's inspirations include the works of H. P. Lovecraft and Franz Kafka. The developers have stated that they wanted to create a place that felt familiar to the player, whilst still maintaining an alien atmosphere to encourage exploration.
