Evolution Worlds is a remake of Evolution 1 and 2, originally made for Dreamcast. This version features new voice acting in both English and Japanese. However, features like the Linear Watch were removed, and Evolution 1's story was cut down significantly.

Hidden in the files of BloodRayne II: Terminal Cut is an unused, brand new model of Rayne. It's unknown if this was leftover from an unreleased title, or a sign that the games were going to get completely new graphics.

Geist's development began when N-Space learned that Nintendo was interested in a first-person game with some sort of unique concept to it. Originally, the game involved manipulating people as a ghost. This turned into possessing people, animals, and objects.

Several bootleg ports of Angry Birds exist for NES, including titles like "Super Angry Birds", "Angry Birds 4", and "Angry Bird 2".

Some of Paradise Killer's inspirations include the works of H. P. Lovecraft and Franz Kafka. The developers have stated that they wanted to create a place that felt familiar to the player, whilst still maintaining an alien atmosphere to encourage exploration.

Resident Evil (PS1) originally started as a remake of the Famicom classic Sweet Home, based on the Japanese film of the same name. When the developers couldn't secure the rights to the movie, they decided to make something original with what they had.

Hong Kong 97 developer HappySoft has a lesser-known game called The Story of Kamikuishiki Village (PC-98). This game was a satire strategy game about the real-world Aum Shinrikyo cult and their infamous sarin gas attack in 1995. It made fun of the cult and their actions.

Oh Shit! (MSX) was a Pac-Man clone for the MSX. It was re-released under several different names, including Oh Shit!, Shit! and Oh No!. It featured digitized speech introducing the ghosts, and saying "Oh Shit!" or "Oh No!" whenever the player dies.

When imported into South Korea, New Rally-X (Arcade) was given the title of "Banggucha". This translates to "Fart Car". This was due to a very literal interpretation of a smokescreen attack in the game.

If you're playing Sword of Mana as a female character, there is a quest to retrieve a boy's book in Topple Village. Upon returning the book to him, he mentions it's a story called "Magical Vacation" -- referencing another one of Brownie Brown's games.
