We've been together for almost 6.5 yrs & he's my angel! I was in a string of abusive relationships before him & had been diagnosed with ptsd. His patience & grace helped me heal (in addition to therapy etc). I'm sharing this to say: love is respect, love is kindness & you deserve that! Don't settle!

I did dried flowers exclusively (I made them) and used spell candles to create the wax dripped wine bottles ✨

I also bought some candles from the shops in New Orleans. A part of our ceremony included lighting a spell candle on an altar I built to bless our marriage 🕯️

I picked a local garden venue (hummingbird house in ATX) since he proposed at the NOLA botanical gardens (like 10min before they closed!)

We got engaged in New Orleans the year (366 days!) before so the whole wedding was to honor that trip. I leaned into the NOLA occult aspect aesthetically since it was October.

I walked down the aisle to 'Moon River' by Frank Ocean

Our first dance: 'Natural High' by Bloodstone (I bought him a wedding ring with bloodstone on the interior of the band)

In lieu of a father/daughter dance, I danced with my kids (Blinding Lights by The Weeknd per my daughter's request)
