We spend time stepping back and observing. We carefully limit our influence on play. βIf I can reassure you of one thing, it is this; getting out of the way is often the best thing we can do for a young child.β (Erika Christakis) ππ€ΈββοΈ #LetThemPlay#ObserveAndLearn#ErikaChristakis
We value risk-taking at nurture Kindergarten βTaking risk develops the frontal lobe of the brain. Thatβs the same area needed for executive functions, including concentration, memory, flexibility, and problem solving.β (Heather Shumaker) π§ πͺ #RiskTaking#BrainDevelopment#ExecutiveFunction
We value open-ended play resources that can be used in countless ways. As Magda Gerber said, βThe more active the object, the more passive the child is.β Let's encourage creativity and imagination in play! π¨π #OpenEndedPlay#CreativeKids#ChildDevelopment
