Anybody here into reel to reel? Chanced upon this open reel splicing kit for cheap in Laz. Usually sells for above 1k, got it for less than 500. Now I will be able to repair and audition the rest of the vintage reels in my stash.

Testing 3 cameras on the 2011 Mac Mini running TouchDesigner 2020 Experimental. There's a 3sec lag on the 2 higher res cams. If this machine dies while I'm doing the project, I won't regret it. Haha.
