From the ages of 2 to 14 I grew up in a caravan park in a semi industrial area of Melbourne - so not a holiday destination.
Through a casual conversation I remembered a term I haven't heard since the 80s: snowdropping.
I thought I had it wrong but, nope, totally correct.

Last Saturday I started a new cold.
Today it's levelled up. My head is in pain. Pain requiring medicine. Especially if I bend over and then my sinus' & ears get the pain TOO.
My body is in revolt & I support it's choice to do so but can it do so in a way that my consciousness isn't involved??

So as he doesn't seem to be improving I'm gonna tap a doctor tomorrow so all bases are covered.
It's definitely not covid. I've tested him twice over the last week.

My 10yo son has just finished the main storyline in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment.
In 2 days.
It was good but....

I've decided to clear out 1 garden bed & plant some fragrant, low maintenance, bee-friendly plants.
The "clear out" is daunting due to all the weeds & grass in the bed. The roses I'm taking out may live or die - i don't care.
God I do not enjoy gardening anymore. This is all for appearance sake.

Damn... 190 kids so far this year.
I would say that trick or treating is now firmly embedded in the Australian culture. Like it or not.
Personally I love seeing groups of kids & parents mixing happily together in my local community outside of school. It's positive, simple & effective.
