Too many teams treat discovery like a quick fix — but customer discovery isn’t a checkbox. It’s a discipline.

Just like fitness, it takes consistency, good form, and a willingness to do the reps... even when it’s uncomfortable.

A client recently referred to me as someone that cleans up their product and applies a new layer of paint/scaffolding. That doesn’t accurately reflect the expertise and depth of the value I bring. It suggests surface-level work, which diminishes the strategic and transformational impact created.
