Ordinary-ish wife/mom. Mostly invisible to the rest of the world. Introvert. Hermit. Casual gamer.
Been there, tried that, do not recommend. I'm good here in the comfort zone.

I'd probably come up with an excuse not to go and just stay home instead.

My current favorites are Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 4, & Anno 1800.

And then he's texting Mrs. Claus from the sleigh because he didn't take the list with him...

As a mom in a family of five gamers, 100% this. It's a peeve of mine when parents complain about their kids gaming...like have you ever tried joining your kid in learning about their interests rather than judging and criticizing? In our family, gaming is one of many ways we connect with each other.

It's actually the second time I broke the same ankle but a different bone. I didn't know I broke it the first time until after it was healed (that was 12 yrs ago). After this experience, I have no idea how I managed it the first time! It was definitely harder this time around.

Occasional aches and stiffness, but the bone has healed well and I can walk unassisted 🎉 (and no more bulky boot!). My daughter was cheering at a football game in August. I passed out from dehydration and twisted my ankle under me. Good times for an introvert who hates to draw attention!

I'm not even remotely fit and just recently recovered from a broken ankle, so a walk that includes stopping frequently to admire the scenery sounds perfect! 😄

Love the detail on these, especially the last one in front of the purple clouds. 💜

In high school, I thought it was stupid that we had to read a book about rabbits. And then I read it and have never forgotten it.

Broccoli. As a kid my family steamed it until it was soggy (ick), and they would tease me about finding worms from the garden (I was terrified to eat it!). As an adult, I wanted to eat healthier and tried roasting it. Total game changer. It's one of my go-to veggies now (roasted or raw in a salad).

Thank you! I have no idea if the book reference is accurate (I never read that one), but the quote really speaks to me. It's a feeling I've struggled with more than usual in the past few years.

I love the vividness of the color. It looks like I could just reach through my phone and pluck one.

One of mine looks at me for permission every single time she wants on the couch. She's been allowed on the couch for nine years.

It's on my list but not very high based on the preview I'd seen. Glad to hear a recommendation. Haul Out the Holly was a fun one too.

Quit FB, never been on Twitter, decided to try this for something different. Don't know a single soul here. Just sitting in my corner observing everyone and not actually connecting with anyone. Just like IRL but with more people and little blips of happy stuff. I don't hate it here.
