“You still have a right to back out.”
Keeping her face half hudden and makingsure to not touch anything, the Lady was nervous as she held tight to her cloak.

“Though not my comfort, I can understand your want to be in a place that is public in case it was a trap.”

The Druids weren't the sort but any one paid-
Ser Lance.

Hearing his name in such a manner made Lance smile. But he would have to find another time to fully take it in, for he had a job to do.

"And you must be the lady. It's good to see you," Lance replied back, turning around to see the cloaked woman. When accepting this new duty, the -

Not once did the lady say anything to anyone but only caused a few heads to turn upon her in entry.

The lady herself had no coin to her name, but the druids of a local grove decided to pay her way to get her where she needed to be.

“Ser Lance?”

A soft and timid voice spoke out behind the male.

Lance is at a tavern, waiting for his client, @nowthatimawoman.bsky.social, to arrive. He received a letter that offered him a job as a bodyguard. He was to take the woman to a fortified Grove.

It did not elaborate as to why she needed protection, just his duty.
- being considered a magical oddity that others wanted to capture and use for their own gain.

Precisely why the poor beast decided to take the forum of a young lady and keep it so.

"Though I may have asked you a question, I have not asked your name? Ser? Knight? Lord?"
“I have!
You should hear the rumors between the trees.”

The unicorn turned lady had a high tone about her to feel that she wasn't alone. In the world, for once in a talk to someone who didn't think that she was just rambling.

It was hard finding any type of connection after centuries alone and-
"Ah, so you are aware."

That brought joy to the lady; although most don't know the stories told amongst rabbits and butterflies.

"And what of music, limericks and rhymes? All creations of the birds, the wind, and butterflies."

"A Unicorn is no more a creature than you are a wolf."

Those eyes, those amethyst eyes in which she could see through all things magical and hidden.
The lady had been called a beast, a mare, an entity but never in all her days had Amalthea been called a creature.

It was unexpected and unnerving, and thus, her response came forth. But seeing the young royal retract himself, the maiden with silver white hair calmed her ways.-
“tell me, 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧, do you believe in fairy tales?”
“Creature?!”

Her tone high and amethyst eyes narrowed on the male; she could detect an aire of difference about him.

“I?! A meer creature?!”
“Nothing dares hurt me for nothing knows what I am.”
Some may say that this is no world for you, and you should stay in your forest. I say there may well be other unicorns in the world yet, and it’s time to go find them.
The lady was silent, scared to give direct eye contact as so much of herself, and soul was told through her eyes.
