Yes, being a pitcher and hitter makes Ohtani great. But Mike Hampton could rake too. Mark McGwire had an ERA around 3.00 in college. There are clips of Bryce Harper throwing a mid-90s fastball in JUCO.

But Ohtani was given the chance to be a two way player. No one else has had the opportunity.
