Parents of a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton went to visit her and were arrested by ICE on the militarybase. The father who was a resident of Oceanside, California was then deported.

Neither of the parents have a criminal record, both have pending green card applications, and valid work permits

Yep. Sadly, as a woman I recognize that many Americans are still reluctant to vote for a female president. Add in a person of color or LGBTQ person and, hoo boy. Bigotry wins. We have to deal with the electorate we have, not the electorate we wish to have. End Trumpism now, address bigotry later.
