Who gets to define progress—and whose bodies make it possible? In People’s Science, Ruha Benjamin exposes how the politics of race, rights, and technology shape the frontiers of biotech innovation. It’s a call to imagine a more just and collective future for science.

A graphic featuring the book People’s Science: Bodies and Rights on the Stem Cell Frontier by Ruha Benjamin. The book cover shows a stylized illustration of a hand gripping a microscope against a red background with radiating lines, evoking a sense of empowerment and collective action. At the top of the image, text reads “A Notice Coalition Book Recommendation.” The Notice Coalition logo appears in the bottom left corner. The overall design uses bold red, black, and cream colors with a modern, activist aesthetic.
Thank you so much for this feedback! We will definitely look into this more and make sure to implement this in all of our future posts! We will always strive to do better in making things accessible for everyone and we thank you for your grace and willingness to let us know!
