Also I'd like to mention this is on top of my other homebrew of being able to turn a success into a ten for purposes of secondary bonuses from backrounds or specializations for a point of willpower (max of 1 per scene)

You keep your spheres as normal so it just makes it easier and more consistent to use Magick for that scene.

Gives low level mages some residual power they had during their awakening and makes for interesting gambits at higher Arte.

Is this swingy? Yes. Does it Fuck Hard? Also yes.

New Mage: The Ascension homebrew I just made up on the spot.

Heightened State: if all of your dice Land on 10s on an Arte roll you are given 3 extra temporary Arte for the remainder of that scene.

As well as giving the players the option to reduce their Arte roll pool to gamble with botchs.

So the red talons are largely hugely werewolf supremacists, they hate humanity for the most part.

Matilda is most likely a Hominid werewolf, her propensity for podcasts, and most damming her human friendship all point her as not a natural red talon. She's a fangirl for the tribe.

So I've been pretty good at theory crafting for H:tP called the werewolf twist from a mile away.

This last audiolog has me wondering about Matilda.

I think, she's a red talon poser.

With the analogy of werewolves and punks she seems to fit the role of a poser very well

Honestly I try to use dice as little as possible during sessions anyway but I'm also constantly giving circumstantial bonuses to rolls to make them more fair. I also try to make any failures that are like one away a "partial failure" so it's more of a setback that can be rectified if you act on it.

So I'm going to make (at least 1) videos going over a group alongside a sphere (akashic brotherhood and mind for instance) do a 2 minute TLDW then go into extreme detail on the basics then showcase some crazy shit that is totally reasonable for mages to pull off give the correct circumstances.

One of the more annoying aspects of being in the mage community is the absolute drouth of content discussing anything. When there is its always lore, which is good, but nobody goes hard into the systems that mage works with, the closest I have to a good video for that is three burgerkrieg videos.

In the mean time I'm also working on a potential video about obsessively delving into each sphere in Mage: The Ascension, how I view them both mechanicaly and meta-textualy.

I work part time at a library and taught it would be nice to remind everyone about book bans since it's banned books week.

Hot tip: if it's been banned before it's probably a pretty good book. Especially if it was banned on moral or political grounds.
