Deadlock is such a fun game but good fucking god I've never had a worse experience with team balancing in my life. Like, it almost seems like pure malicious intent with how unbalanced it is lol. About 30 games since I've come back to playing and maybe 3 have felt "competitive?"

Lots of takeaways from the Kirby air riders direct but one thing that stands out is holy hell the tracks look beautiful. They’re so gorgeous and fleshed out and seem to have almost no repetitive aesthetics or environments inside their own tracks. Looks incredible.

God I really miss Bonberman. That stretch of games on the N64 were just magical. Going from simple “blow things up in your path” exploration to a really unique puzzle platformer, not to mention every soundtrack was literally 10/10. God I want another game like it.

Please do me a favor. If you have a pet, take a video of them breathing. Just when they're chill and laying down doing nothing, take a video of their breathing so you have a reference in the future in case you're wondering if they're breathing fast or labored for any reason.

Turns out if you are playing a game on Steam's family share, you can't buy the DLC for the game. And you can't gift the DLC to the person who owns the game and play it through family share. If I want to play the Lies of P DLC I need to drop $60 for the game AND the DLC 🙃

Also after looking at the list of games shown I don't really get the criticism of "worst SGF ever." Like, the show had fucking 60 games shown in a 2 hour window. What more do you want? What more could you ask for in a day of game announcements?

Was gonna make a tweet thread about all the games shown at SummerGamesFest for posterity's sake. But holy shit there was a lot of games shown. Like nearly 60 games shown lol. Might still do it later.

These "Replay GOTY" are fun. They're doing one for 2007 and it's always crazy to think of how many absurdly good games released this year lol

I’m 29 hours in and Clair Obscur is easily GOTY for me so far. But if it keeps on being as good as it is, it’s honestly gonna secure top 5 favorite video game ever for me.

The fact they added shiny cards to the new expansion in TCGPocket is honestly awful. They just saturate the pool when I'm trying to get new cards. They're not even shinies of new cards!

Just finished watching Sinners. The scene where Sammy was playing, showing the past and future of black culture music, along with Chinese culture was beautiful. But then shortly after they had the Irish Jig? Absolutely beautiful display of multiple cultures and history.

Just finished season finale of daredevil and man…
It is so satisfying on a primal level to just watch punisher do his thing. So much build up and god was that payoff worth it. I can’t wait until March for more 😭

I’ve come to the conclusion the “like” button on social media has made all of social media much more toxic. If you like/agree with something you just hit a button. There’s no actual positivity to build off. But if you dislike/disagree you type a whole comment which just spurns on more negativity.
