A curious project, perhaps.

To turn Snorri's Prose Edda, written to save the poetics of Medieval Iceland, into traditional alliterative verse; continuing his project maybe?

Part one of Gylfaginning in Verse is here, free to stream, for now.

Slowly throwing myself back into writing devotional poetry on a regular basis. This one is dedicated to Andraste (the goddess invoked by Bouddica, not the prophet from Dragon Age)

Y'know that Haiku Edda thing I've occasionally posted about? Well, I'm pleased to unveil the cover art, designed by @ergigoat.bsky.social

And for anyone that's interested, here's the first poem from the book in full:

It feels a kind of projection, the talking to goddesses, gods, ghosts & others; a kind of talking 'as if' they will hear you. A sending out of self, to be met, somewhere, somehow, somewho. 'Cause at times you feel them answer back.

Reviewed Pagan Portal: Brigantia on my blog. T'is my first book review, and probably will be my last, because I weren't overly impressed.

For the last few years, I've been working on a book called the Haiku Edda. Tl;dr version — Imagine the Poetic Edda but written in haikus.

Here's an excerpt from it because I need a damn break from editing and formatting it:

Adding stanza numbers to the Haiku Edda at long last. Is there a quicker way to do it? I'm still on the first poem and one of the poems consists of 300 haikus (There's over 1500 in total in this project) 😅😭

I was recently on the Witching Around Podcast, chatting about water nymphs. Who they are, how to work with them, etc

Back on my nymph nonsense. This time focusing on a goddess-nymph from Britain, who also was worshipped by Germans and Romans (take that modern concepts of pantheons)
