Hi Bluesky! I’m Congressman Donald Norcross, a union electrician from South Jersey who is a voice for workers in Congress. I believe the best social program is a good-paying job, and will always fight to put workers and their families first.

On Indigenous People’s Day, we honor the history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous Americans. Their strength and traditions continue to shape our nation and our South Jersey community.

My office helped secure $5 million for critical research at Coriell, and this expansion will create good-paying jobs and drive medical innovation right here in South Jersey.

With so much bad news lately, it was nice to celebrate something good.

Earlier this week, I joined local leaders for the groundbreaking of Coriell Institute’s new Camden facility.

Americans are already struggling with rising costs. We need Republicans to get back to DC and work with us to get critical services up and running while stopping healthcare premiums from doubling.

On National Coming Out Day we stand with LGBTQ+ people everywhere. Everyone deserves to live openly and safely. Donald Trump’s attacks on LGBTQ+ rights are wrong and we will not go backwards.

Our troops, TSA agents, and food inspectors are about to start missing paychecks because Republicans refuse to come to work and lower Americans' healthcare costs. It is time to end the games and reopen the government.

Every family deserves a safe, affordable place to call home.

It was great to join Camden leaders to celebrate the new Community Housing Collaborative. Together, we are turning vacant lots into opportunity, creating good-paying jobs, and strengthening our neighborhoods.

It is time to end the shutdown and negotiate a budget deal that works for everyone, not just Trump's billionaire buddies.

We just got an update from the New Jersey Department of Health that the WIC program, which provides food and nutrition support for 165,000 women and children across our state, only has enough funds to help families for two more weeks.

Not only has Donald Trump shut down the government, but he canceled over a billion dollars in federal projects that were going to help American families and create good-paying jobs right here at home. American workers shouldn’t have to pay for Trump’s failures.

Together, we remember the millions of people who were murdered during the Holocaust, work to educate future generations about the atrocities of the Holocaust, and promise to fight back against the rise in antisemitism.

I was honored to join local leaders and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Southern New Jersey for the “Hate Ends Now” exhibit in Cherry Hill.

I've hosted 111 town halls throughout my time in Congress because hearing directly from my constituents is what makes our democracy strong.

Thank you to everyone who joined my Telephone Town Hall last night on the Republican government shutdown. I'm fighting to protect your healthcare and reopen the federal government.

Rep-elect Adelita Grijalva is ready to be sworn in, and the American people are ready for this shutdown to be over. Let's get back to work. It's time for Republicans to stop playing partisan games and do what they were elected to do: govern.

RAJU: You swore in 2 GOP members during pro forma session. Why not swear in Grijalva? Does it have to do w/her signature on Epstein petition?

JOHNSON: It has nothing to do with that. We'll swear her in when everybody is back

R: Why not now?

J: Uh - we'll schedule it, I guess, as soon as she wants

Families are about to see their healthcare premiums rise while Republicans are on vacation. Enough excuses. It is time for Republicans to get back to Washington and do their job.

Federal workers didn't shut down the government, and they shouldn't pay the price. Trump's threat to block backpay for federal workers is wrong and illegal.

It’s outrageous that Trump & Vought continue to threaten the livelihoods of tens of thousands of dedicated federal workers during a government shutdown.

Two years ago, Hamas carried out a brutal terrorist attack on Israel. Families are still waiting for the safe return of their loved ones. We must continue to stand strong against terror and work until every hostage is home.

I’ll always fight to make sure every worker earns a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work. That's why I joined @pressley.house.gov, @smith.senate.gov, and Rep. Fitzpatrick in introducing legislation to ensure that the backbone of our government won’t be punished for the chaos they didn’t cause.

When the government shuts down, working people pay the price. Federal contract workers do essential jobs that keep our government running and our communities safe, and they shouldn’t lose a paycheck because of partisan gridlock.

There’s no excuse for delaying Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva’s swearing-in. The House has sworn in members during recess before. Speaker Johnson is clearly afraid of releasing the Epstein files. It is time the truth comes out and AZ07 gets its voice back in Congress. thehill.com/homenews/hou...
Republicans refuse to swear in newly elected Democrat, delaying success of Epstein petition
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and House Republican leaders refused requests from Democrats to swear in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.) on Tuesday, saying she will be sworn in when the House re…

Six days into this shutdown. Families are hurting, thousands of paychecks are frozen, and now Trump wants to fire federal workers. It’s time for real leadership.

It was great to talk to families about how I'm fighting to lower their healthcare costs and end this Republican shutdown. Thank you to the families who shared their stories about how Republican cuts to healthcare are impacting them and why we must keep fighting to make healthcare more affordable.
