As a mother I am greatly saddened by the kidnappings in our country particularly of our children and teachers from places of learning. My heart goes out to the children and all those kidnapped and to their families living in fear and uncertainty. (1/2)

A wonderful first day for the WTO and multilateral trading system at the G20 summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. Virtually every leader referenced the need to support multilateralism and in particular the rules-based multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core. (1/3)

It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Barrister Olusegun Awolowo with whom I worked during my time as finance Minister in 2011-2015 and then again at the WTO when I joined in 2021. (1/2)
