call me crazy but that sounded like native russian speakers in the golden kamuy episode or it could also very well be my ass being completely ignorant to how russian actually sounds, we'll see.

Not a coincidence that many of the production materials for these impressive character cuts being shared by the studio are drawn on paper. Obviously it's not a technlogy thing (they have great digital artists as well), it's more about the profile of artist that Ikoku Nikki has been lucky to secure

I get why they did it but seeing how Makio's writings about seeing Asa as a puppy didn't make it hurt me a little bit, not gonna lie - it's just so endearing!
