Decided to join the city library this week, I can’t keep constantly buying books…my bank account can’t support it and I don’t have the room to keep them all 😂
Also realised that I haven’t had a library card since I was at university 20yrs ago…getting old!

Just tried cheese made with sticky toffee and crazy thing is…it works! It’s really bloody tasty but I can’t for love nor money tell you why I like it

Finished this off this evening, forgetting the real life parallels for a second, it is absolutely gut wrenching at times. All you want is for something to happen that Winston can take pride in or take joy from and instead, every ounce of his being is stolen from him in the worst way imaginable
Fancied something a little different, so time to give this a go

I’m half way through my week off work and tbh I’ve done very little except a quick Google for last minute, cheap flights to mainland Europe for a couple of days, only to find my local airport doesn’t really do cheap flights 😒

Got a promotion at work today, so decided to treat myself. No healthy eating this evening.
Massive double patty burger with overloaded fries and some cheese and biscuits with a chorizo & chilli jam to watch a film with. Plus I have a week off work from Monday too 😊

Finished Hunger Games Mockingjay in just a few days, didn’t think I would enjoy the books this much.
Would love to have seen how much more Phillip Seymour Hoffman would have brought to the Plutarch Heavensbee character. That said, I’m glad they didn’t try to recast him in the films
