National Down Syndrome Awareness Week starts today and runs until Oct 25th. In 1950, only 1% of adults with Down syndrome lived to 40 years of age. Today, over 30% of Canadians with Down Syndrome are over 40. This year’s theme is “We Deserve Care.”

Welcome back everyone. We hope that our staff and students had a restful and enjoyable summer break. With each new school year, comes many exciting opportunities - the new friends you’ll make and the new goals you'll set. We wish everyone a successful and fun school year.
As schools are set to reopen, school buses will be back on the road and many students will be walking to school. We ask everyone to be mindful while driving, especially near schools. Please stop for our buses when the stop sign is out when they pick up and drop off students.
