I'm so burned out and have such terrible writers' block. The only thing I've written since August is an outline + a few hundred words. I know it's not possible to fail at fandom but right now it feels like somehow I found a way! 🫠

God today sucked. I was so happy to have it as an unexpected WFH day but every element of today was awful. I got ripped off by my dentist for a LOT of money, co-workers missed their deadlines and/or fucked things up that I had to fix, kid came home sick, and oh yeah the fascism.

16. What does love mean to their relationship?

I think love for Naia and Zev is very "ride or die." Once they're in, they're both ALL in, and Maker help anyone who tries to get between them. (Unless they specifically invited that person to get between them...)

15. How have they changed each other?

Naia has softened Zev, helped him see that caring is not a weakness or something he should be ashamed of. Zev has helped Naia with her temper and her impulsiveness -- her rashness has led to regret more than once and he steadies her.

14. What do you think their best memories together would be?

Aside from the NSFW ones? 😈 I think they both love going on adventures together, trying new things, overcoming obstacles. They also love lazy mornings in pajamas, cooking breakfast and drinking coffee and just getting to be together.

Zev said it first, Naia immediately reciprocated, both of them were surprised when they later realized that was the first time either one of them had said it. They felt it long before they put words to it.

I've gotten a comm of them that I adore! But no merch. Although I wouldn't be opposed to a Zev plushie if I ever found one I liked.

Naia: Dark green, Warden blue, and the deep red-brown of her hair.
Zevran: Light green, gold, black, and silver (I'm a sucker for art of Zev in his black Crow armor)

Perc'ahlia from Critical Role comes the closest for me! Two clever but traumatized people who aren't necessarily the most emotionally clued-in but adore each other.

Neither one of them shares their feelings lightly so they'd be a little cagey about this! Zev would make a suggestive joke about Naia's looks or athleticism.

Naia goes out of her way to express appreciation to Zevran. It takes him aback at first but it's one of the things that makes him fall for her. When Naia's upset Zev asks the right questions, the ones that make it clear he's really listening.

7. How would they show they love each other through actions?

Zevran: Stabbing threats. Naia: Also stabbing threats.

On the less violent side, Zevran loves to spoil Naia with meals, wine, and jewelry. Naia is a master of casual affection -- kisses on the cheek, spontaneous hugs, compliments, etc.
