Based on the most recent weather forecast we plan to carry out gritting from 04:00am on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 on the following routes: Allendale, Alnwick 4, Bearl 4, Haltwhistle 1, Otterburn 1, Otterburn 2 and Rothbury. Turning increasingly cloudy into the evening. Tonight, will start mostly cloudy with a few showers around. It will turn drier through the early hours, especially towards dawn, with clear spells developing. A breezy night. A mostly dry day tomorrow, with patchy cloud and some brighter breaks. A chance of one or two shower. Becoming widely cloudy by evening. Staying breezy. Then from 4:00am on Tuesday 25th November 2025 on the following route: Otterburn 2. Then from 4:30am on the following routes: Allendale and Otterburn 1. Tonight, will see variable cloud with further isolated light showers moving in from the north at times, these wintry on hills. A few clearer spells at times between the showers. A colder night. Tomorrow will start largely dry, with patches of cloud moving in and a few showers confined to coastal areas. It will become dry in the afternoon. Bright spells on western areas.
