It was also my first DA game and it was alright; combat is a bit...overstuffed? But the story/characters/writing are all excellent.

Novel is a wildly overcomplicated multi-POV epic fantasy about somebody starting a race war w/elves via proxy, magical Chosen One has to try to stop it (somehow)

Just got a preview copy of this and I am loving this. I love how there are two distinct vocal styles on this. Between the vocals and the music, it kind of starts off in hell and then it goes up to the peak of an icy mountain.

Ok as a personal favor (😜) I revisited the album this morning and you're so right, that build is totally insane in Static, the way the tempo pushes gradually and it lands into the feedback hum 👌🏼the preacher stuff at the beginning weirds me out so it still might not be fave song but fave moment yes
