Ryo Horikawa is just so good and consistent. After 25 years of being a DBZ fan I finally watched the subs and the Japanese VAs have grown on me.

Yeah! I learned this recently as well. If you look up videos of Cary Grant or other old timey actors speaking, they have the same kinda accent (though IRL it's way smoother and sultrier). Sabat anime'd it up.
