The illustration depicts a grey wolf with its head tilted up. The eye is slid slightly back. The original intention was for the paper to be positioned with the skull upside down, however that was scrapped in favor of the leaves. The animals skeleton is visible, as well as the esophagus and trachea. This is one of the only less layered charcoal illustrations I’ve done, and it will remain that way.
