We picked up Jessica Slice and Caroline Cupp's "Dateable" for all the crip dating advice. It feels fitting that we start here before "Unfit: A Disabled Mother Challenges an Inaccessible World" releases (but don't worry, we'll have copies of that one soon too).

"The Gloomy Girl Variety Show" by @fredaepum.bsky.social was an instant pick up after we read our galley copy, and you are in good company when you're in the same book batch as "The Year of the Tiger" by Alice Wong.

Sophie Strand and @pollyrowena.bsky.social each brings their own unique voice into the growing chorus of literature recognizing the intersection of the disabled body and ebbs and flows of nature with "The Body is a Doorway" and "Some of Us Just Fall".

Typically we are pretty picky about memoirs, not because we have anything against them but because they are easily the genre most represented in disability lit. So you know when we've picked up a bundle of them, they are all bangers.
