Among many, many other reasons, this is why I have a hard-line stance against personally using it. It's a drug that saps cognitive capacity and motivation as you use it for more and more nuisance tasks. "It can draft an email, why don't I use it to write a bio? Or a cover letter?" Then you're hooked

Panel 2: the smaller group says “ok we made our own place” labelled Bluesky

Se trata de la portada de "El río tiene raíces" de Amal El-Mohtar. En ella se ve un arco hecho de los troncos y ramas de dos sauces y dos mujeres jóvenes abrazadas en mitad del cauce de un río. Una, la más alta, tiene el pelo muy frondoso y oscuro, verde. Recuerda a hojas o algas. La otra, más baja, tiene el pelo largo también, no tan voluminoso. Es de color blanco y se confunde con la espuma al llegar al agua.

Son los primeros tres párrafos del libro:

El río Solazar discurre de norte a sur, y sus aguas rebosan gramática.

Las criaturas que, hoy en día, mascullan sobre sus libros de texto no prestan atención a la gramática. La gramática es tediosa, difícil, lenta; la gramática es un grillete para el lenguaje, que te cambia el "por qué" (separado) por "porqué" (junto), y el "le" por "les". La gramática y las personas que la practican son alguaciles que te vigilan con aire ceñudo mientras conjugas verbos, y entornan los ojos al ver tus subordinadas mientras se golpean las palmas de las manos con sus porras de punto y coma.

No obstante, esa no es la verdad de la gramática. Hubo un tiempo en que era salvaje, en el que cambiaba formas y extraía nuevos usos de los antiguos. Gramática, de "gramarye", de grimorio. ¿Qué es la magia, sino un cambio en el mundo? ¿Qué es la conjugación, sino la transformación de algo en otra cosa? Ella corre; ella corrió; ella correrá de nuevo.
