I took this a few weeks ago.
I’ve seen White Bellied Sea Eagles take sea birds before. I think this is a Black Cormorant. Possibly a Muttonbird. They can become exhausted during migration.

I watched a tree snap in two during a sudden windstorm today. The driver took it well. A large branch had landed on his truck while he was making a delivery.
