I’m grateful to organizations like the Randallstown NAACP for hosting events like these—giving members and voters alike the chance to hear each candidate’s vision for the future of the third-largest jurisdiction in Maryland.

See you Wednesday!

Grateful to Claudine Davison and the Great Talk team for bringing thoughtful conversations like this to our community.

As the only attorney in the Democratic primary for Baltimore County Executive, I take those words to heart. Justice, rule of law, and courage are not just courtroom values — they’re the foundation of public service.
Each reminded us of the moral courage and accountability our institutions demand.

Judge Davis’ words still echo: “No kings. And no cowardly judges.”
Hosted by Great Talk and the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute at Johns Hopkins University, the discussion brought together former federal Judge Andre M. Davis, Anya Bidwell of the @ij.org, constitutional lawyer Bruce Fein, and Slate senior writer Mark Joseph Stern.
Back in Pikesville — at the Pikesville Armory, no less — for the second time this week.

Joined friends and neighbors for a Great Talk exploring a question at the heart of our democracy: “What happens when the courts are ignored?”
I'm so grateful to Jen and Steve Bradbury for opening their home for a meet & greet. Thank you to everyone who came out!

People ask what momentum looks like. It's this. It's neighbor to neighbor. It's community.
Moments like this give me heart.

It's a weeknight. It's a school night. But neighbors took time and shared their stories, their questions, their ideas.
Yet manufacturing is wealth-creating. It drives stability, good wages and family-supporting careers. Together, we can advance next-gen manufacturing and R&D that draws on our proud industrial history to revitalize our County, especially our East Side, and unlock our future.
Mike is Maryland’s preeminent champion of manufacturing. He reminded me that Maryland — and Baltimore County in particular — is lagging behind the national average because we haven’t paid enough attention to this sector.
I got the one-two punch last night at the Pikesville Armory from the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland's Dr. Mike Galiazzo: a shot of sobering reality with a big dose of inspiration.
