My one Olivia Nuzzi story is that I criticized her on Twitter several times over the years, but after I retweeted one of her stories (maybe the Stormy Daniels one?) she sent me this DM. Knowing I had all these past critical tweets out there, I found it so awkward that I just completely ignored it

I think plenty of it speaks to the state of the media, but an obvious one is that Vox and Vanity Fair barely investigated her and that she managed to commit an unforgivable journalistic crime before getting a book deal and walking into another prestige job, while plenty of others are being laid off
you know, what if they aren't actually a commentary on journalism or the state of media. what if these people are just extremely weird

This is the first Ravens-Bengals Thanksgiving game. The Bengals lost their only Thanksgiving game to the Jets in 2010. The Ravens won the first Harbaugh Bowl against the 49ers in 2011 and then a classic 2013 contest with the Steelers. They're 2020 rematch was delayed by COVID

If any of the allegations are true, Nuzzi covering for RFK Jr. directly played a role in the gutting of America's public health infrastructure, the defenestrating of the CDC and the promotion of the lie that vaccines causing autism.
If the Nuzzi blast radius doesn't impact both the new editor of VF and the NYT profiler, then something wrong. Holy shit.

It's weird that Ken Burns' American Revolution doc features Paul Giamatti as John Adams and Laura Linney as several women but NOT Abigail Adams, who is voiced by Claire Danes. Also Jeff Daniels is voicing Thomas Jefferson and not George Washington
