Niah is a former inhabitant of Earth who now lives on Mars. Originally cryogenically frozen due to an accident that occurred in the past, she wakes up in a world new and foreign to her, all the while, struggles to come to terms with what happened in her past life, the loss of her relatives, and the tragic conditions of earth due to the gate explosion. Adjusting to a new life, let alone on a new planet, proved difficult. Times have changed - it seemed as if humanity as a whole had changed for the worse where people's sense of morality appears skewed. Along with the new advanced technology, Niah found it difficult to get by alone for awhile, unsure of who she could truly trust as she kept mainly to herself. Gratefully, due to her circumstances and the noble actions of a special rental assistance program, she was offered a shabby apartment for few months and with money her parents insured she'd have due to their life insurance policy when they eventually passec she was able to afford her own property on a house, plus mal payments on a plan to alleviate her debt that accumulated over the years. She finds herself staying busy with her new home, eventually creating a garden to tend to, hanging bird feeders, ect, all the things she used to do on earth - these interests in particular represented the life and care she possesses within her being, the generous need to care for something or someone, and abundant love that's swelling in her heart.

Niah's most obvious quality would be her tendency to maintain a cordial, thoughtful demeanor when she interacts with others, whether they're strangers or ones special enough to be called friends. But despite this, she's also fairly reserved, quiet, and observant of people in general that some might misinterpret such traits as being standoffish, but it doesn't quite dissuade her from offering them a small warm smile. She may possess a logical mindset in how she views certain situations, but it often comes at odds with her instincts and intuitive nature that whispers something different that others may fail to see. There are 'feelings' about things and people she may cross paths with, and Niah has the ability to intuitively understand them. To add on to this trait is the presence of abstract thoughts that paints her mind with deep sentiments, potent with poetic imagery, that her fingers translate in writing on sheets of paper. Niah is genuinely warm as she is complex, owning a rich, deep inner world that's only shared in pieces with ones who desire to get close to her, ones who truly see and appreciate her as an individual and the depth of her care. She's private in this way of keeping certain thoughts and views close to her heart, as well as her own interests. It's easy for emotions to stir within as tears flow at different types of sadness, most times, quite sensitive to conflict and disturbances with little tolerance to it; and although she tries to wear patience on her sleeve, a rare situation may happen to be overwhelming that she explodes with charged anger. Empathy is a trait that naturally allows her to be sensitive to other people's feelings and pick up the emotions or vibes of another; she also tries to avoid hurting anyone, but she's not above speaking her mind about the truth of a matter if only to help benefit them, although shared in a tactful manner.
