Travis Sanheim had an assist on Sean Couturier's 2nd period goal. It was his 160th career assist, moving him past Shayne Gostisbehere for 6th among Flyers defenseman. It also was his 215th point, moving him past Behn Wilson for 7th among Flyers defensemen

Trevor Zegras listed at left wing with Christian Dvorak at center on their line for Flyers. Pretty sure it'll be a fluid situation there, with them flipping back and forth between the middle and the wing depending on the situation.

Tocchet also said Michkov had an offseason ankle injury which limited his training regimen. Tocchet: "I think he got a little bit behind the 8 ball this summer coming into camp. ... He's healthy. It wasn't a major thing. It affected some of his training."

Matvei Michkov's ice time is 14:11 through 2 games, compared to 16:41 last season. Some of it is the 9 times Flyers have been shorthanded. Rick Tocchet: "All of a sudden he's getting 15 minutes, if we don't have penalties he's getting 17, so everyone's making an issue."
