my (cis) partner's mother found her linkedin & she had to frantically unwoke it but forgot about her (cis) pronouns & now she's getting insane "concerned" texts from her family (white women) that include accusations of her being a "liberal white woman" conservatism like actively eats ppl's brains

I get that everyone thinks it's a funny little joke when Trump says nonsense about "trangender for everybody" (because really, wtf does that even mean?), but I gotta say that as a trans person, I find it absolutely fucking insane that he's constantly obsessing over trans people existing. It sucks.

Trump: "If we didn't win this election. If we had these people that were running that were ruining our country, destroying our country with their open borders and men playing in women's sports and transgender from everybody and windmills all over the place ... I'm not sure we'd even have a country."

I think the most revealing thing about the Emma Watson/JKR thing is how TERFS/conservatives more generally tend to wail about liberals not wanting to be friends with them and its like. Look what happened. Watson tried to extend an olive branch to Rowling and the hag went "you stupid bitch lmao"

Half of Americans oppose lawmakers banning or restricting gender-affirming care for trans youth, our new 19th News/SurveyMonkey poll finds.

People don't like politicians targeting this health care, although only 37% support trans minors ability to access the care.
More Americans see a future where gender-affirming care will be harder to access
A new 19th News/SurveyMonkey poll shows that the share of people who think gender-affirming care will get less accessible jumped to 38% from 20% in 2024.

So anyway, what are y'all's favorite Ben & Jerry's flavors?

I'm pretty partial to gimme s'more but I love all things tiramisu so I was pretty thrilled to find that. I do miss impretzively fudged though, chocolate pretzels are some of my favorite treats.

Senator Ted Cruz misquotes one of the bullet engravings in the Kirk shooting and then misattributes it as a meme from the trans community.
