We had to ensure the website was fully backward compatible with an existing .NET Framework application that integrates with the website using custom REST APIs and shared encrypted Forms Authentication tickets. 🔐

Another Umbraco migration completed today! 🚀

This was a complicated v8 to v13 migration which has been in development on and off for the last 6 months. Thankfully, it all went live smoothly with no reported issues!

We are proud to announce that our shared web hosting services are now powered by renewable energy, provided by a hosting partner verified by the Green Web Foundation. In addition, our office runs primarily on solar power, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

It was made even harder by clashes in unique IDs as one of the Umbraco 7 sites was originally cloned from the other!

In all, we managed to migrate several thousand media and content items!

We've been busy the last few months helping another agency migrate two Umbraco 7 sites into a single Umbraco 13 instance.

This involved migrating Grid Layout to Block Grid, macros to blocks, mapping data from old to new and creating a migration solution based on processing uSync files.

We've just migrated one Umbraco v8 website to v13 which has gone live today and another Umbraco v7 site to v13 is currently in test which proved tricky due to some rather old code that needed migrating along with a custom Umbraco Forms theme.

It's been a busy start to the year, with lots of projects on the go which has kept us busy which has been great. Lots of different projects for various clients, ranging from small enhancements and new features, through to Umbraco migrations as well as the usual ongoing maintenance and support.
