I'm not an authority on AST but I also think people really shouldn't be playing it as their first healer class if they've never played healer in an MMO before. I'd rather people actually know the basics first. IMO, you should know the basics of the game and your kit by SB.

i stick to canon for the most part, but i do add my personal touches to characters i get attached to

Since I don't write any of my characters as the WOL, Meteor exists and he's pretty much my OC now. Sphene, Zenos, Zero Estinien, Claudien, Leofard, and Erictonios to a lesser extent but those are the characters I can think of right now.

I've been playing FFXIV for almost 8 years wtf.
Did I really just spend my 20s wasting away in an MMO, yes.
But it did reignite my creativity and made me enjoy making art, I made friends, it taught me to be a braver person, and it helped me through the worst times of my life.

I miss Dragon Sight and Blood of the Dragon. I still feel like ice/fire drops even though Enochian is always there. I miss the complexity SMN had when it had Bio ngl.
I still call the XIV store MogStation.
I think about popping Protect before a dungeon, Goad and Mana Shift more times than I should
