also in regards to the actual art, check out the infection scarring around their chest- sunlight curse on something oil-dark left them with oilslick rainbows. (their shell will eventually get trimmed and sanded to facilitate healing and also just be more comfortable)

in contrast to hollow's expected reaction to their 'failure', cooper s33s the fact that he got to live his whole life with very little suffering as a huge success on their part. he only knows the vague idea of 'knight was sealed to handle the infection' and considering most of the kingdom isnt
