Belgoi by Gerald Brom. His iconic art defined style and atmosphere of Dark Sun setting for AD&D.

Dark Sun was (and is) a unique setting. It is - literally - a postapocalyptic setting like, say, Fallout. The main difference is that apocalypse was not technical, but magical in nature.

Odin Rides Forth by Jack Easley. Jack Easley was one of artists who very much defined style and looks of early DnD art and was one of the few employees deemed critical even by Lorraine Williams.
