I wanted to set the mood with the majority of the light when you enter the game just be glow from the tv. Alternatively, there are multiple lights in the room that can be switched off and on. They also definitely aren’t CC0 models of lamps that I flipped upside down in the ceiling 🙃

This is where the rebuild started. From a small MS Paint scene, to a small “brought to you by #blender” scene.

This is “home base” if you will, so I wanted it to feel grounded, lived in, but just a little bit cramped and uncomfortable.

This is the result of day one in the #godot #3dgame rebuild.

I was planning to immediately follow up with some old pictures, but…not a social media person so I got distracted.

I started “Odd Jobs” a few years ago as a 2D project. It was meant to be a quiet #cozygame that was just a little unsettling. Think Welcome to Nightvale meets Stardew Valley.
