The video games industry has been mourning the passing of the iconic Tomonobu Itagaki who passed away at the tender age of 58. The talented developer spearheaded the Dead or Alive series and also revived the Ninja Gaiden franchise. Nintendo fans may know him best for the action-packed Wii U game Devil's Third. A number of key personnel from the video games industry such as Tekken creator Katsuhiro Harada and Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon have paid the respects to Mr. Itagaki. May he rest in peace.

The official Dragon Ball account has said that a brand new game in the series will be unveiled in January at the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event in Japan. The special Dragon Ball-themed event will see a stage talk featuring Masako Nozawa, the voice of Son Goku, Nozawa Masako, with major new franchise announcements. Fingers are firmly crossed that it could be Dragon Ball FighterZ 2 or Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. We will have to wait and see what transpires!
